INITIATES:

  • Make sure you are submitting your hours on the spha.truman.edu website (under Member Resources→ Hours→ Submit Hours)!
  • Don’t forget to pay your dues ($25/semester or $45/year) as well as your professional attire payment ($25/polo and/or $50/cardigan)!
  • The last makeup Initiate Quiz is taking place this Wednesday at 6:30pm in MG 2001. Please mark your calendars if you have been unable to attend a quiz time so far.

  • Keep wearing business casual to general body meetings, please! Y’all look great!

Service Chair: Clarice Schmid

  • Helping with capstone projects that are related to health can be counted as service hours!!

  • Donating small items for her mystery table (ex. small/cheap games, travel size items such as lotions and soaps, pack of tissue)
  • There are a few spots left to table next week but you will need to go to one of the training nights she’s offering which will be about how to relay the information about the Buddy Pack program (2/23 – PB 3104 at 5pm or 2/24 – PB 3104 at 4pm)
  • Wrapping of the items will be done after the training nights, so feel free to help with that as well
  • Here’s the link for the tabling, but remember you’ll need to go to one of the training night.  If you can’t make either night you can email her and work something out

Dr. Wodika: 

  • Health Science Alumna, Maggie DeDecker (Spring, 15) will be back at Truman on March 3, 2017.She is currently obtaining her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Creighton University. She will be available to speak with students from 1-2 on Friday, March 3rd about OT-related questions! Please come speak with her to learn more 🙂
