President- Have a great Mid Term break!!!

Vice President-New Members- Retreat is Sunday October 6th at 1pm in SUB Georgian B this is Mandatory

Initiation is October 16th- must complete 2 service hours, 2 education hours, and pay $10 dues in order to be initiated.

Treasurer – Current Balance: $2,759.68

        DUES DUE OCTOBER 16TH @ INITIATION

        -$10 NEW MEMBERS

        -$20 CURRENT MEMBERS.

**YOU WILL RECEIVE A LATE FEE IF NOT PAID ON TIME**

Secretary –

1. Reminders about EXCUSES:

   1. You Must send excuses through the spha website spha.truman.edu. (as well as hours). I can not guarantee I will see your excuse if you only send it through email, which will lead to an unexcused absence.

   2. I take care of all excuses for all SPHA mandatory events, so in the past emails have been sent to specific chairs, and they are not responsible for recording them.

   3. Things that are not excusable: too much homework, a test tomorrow (Studying) too tired, I forgot… ect. Things that are: work, out of town, other organizational commitments.

2. Service Hours Log:

   1. Currently updating member list, then all current hours will be posted!

   2. Remember to submit hours through the SPHA Website: spha.truman.edu

   1. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SIGNING IN, IT IS ALWAYS THE PURPLE SIGN IN CLIPBOARD.

Service-

1. Reminders

   1. KPS Fun Night-Saturday October 5th from 4:30-8:00

      1. New members needing hours should see me TONIGHT if you would like to participate

   2. C.R.O.P. Walk (5k)-Saturday October 5th at 9:00 am

      1. Still time to register-tables on the quad or at starting line (parking lot next to the Rec)

      2. $7.00

2. Health Tables

   1. October 15th-17th, October 22nd, October 23rd

   2. Hosted by Wellness Committee to inform faculty and staff about health and wellness

   3. SUB

3. Buddy Packs

   1. We will be helping the Adair County Food Pantry pack Buddy Packs during November

   2. More specifics to come!

Education-

Making Bubble Wrap at 6pm before next meeting

Sleep Awareness Presentation tomorrow night in BH “Little Theater” from 8-9pm
