  • NEMO AHEC Ethics Presentation (This will count for education hours!!)
  • This opportunity involves creating a presentation and a few activities about health care ethics and helping with the workshop sometime in April.

Dr. Clark:  

  • Keep thinking about how SPHA can raise money for students to attend ASHA in October
  • Start saving money for membership and registration
  • ASHA conference
  • MO PHA conference in Sept
  • Check the master calendar for Men’s Health Month activities (a HLTH 440 capstone project)

Dr. Wodika: 

  • In September (2017), Truman will celebrate Constitution Day (as we do every year) and they want courses and student groups to start thinking about activities to present/prepare.
  • We could focus on Health Policy (as that would be especially important this year with many discussions about the Affordable Care Act). Perhaps we could table?
  • It’s a great opportunity for us to Serve as a Resource and also Advocate for the profession!
